Earlier in 2025, Neel Aviation completed another international shipment for one of our longtime customers—this time preparing and exporting a Cessna 310 along with several engines to South Korea. These aircraft and engines will be remanufactured and repurposed as maintenance trainers for colleges and technical institutions across Southeast Asia.

This project marked more than just another export—it was part of a relationship built on trust and experience, with over 25 shipments completed for this customer through the years.

The Cessna 310: A Twin-Engine Classic

The Cessna 310, first introduced in the 1950s, is a six-seat, twin-engine aircraft that quickly became popular for business and private aviation. With its twin Continental engines, sleek design, and strong performance, the 310 was one of the first light twin aircraft to gain widespread success.

While many Cessna 310s are still flown today, they are also valuable as training platforms for aviation mechanics. Their twin-engine design, complex systems, and durable airframe provide excellent real-world experience for students learning aircraft maintenance and repair.

Preparing the Shipment

For this project, Neel Aviation’s crew:

Each component was carefully packed to ensure safe delivery overseas, where they will be used in educational programs that prepare the next generation of aircraft technicians.

Supporting Aviation Education in Southeast Asia

Once in South Korea, the Cessna 310 and engines will be remanufactured and adapted for classroom use as maintenance trainers. These aircraft provide hands-on training opportunities, allowing students at colleges and technical institutions across Southeast Asia to practice inspections, repairs, and system operations.

By repurposing aircraft in this way, Neel Aviation plays a part in strengthening the aviation workforce in a region where air travel and aerospace industries continue to expand.

A Long-Term Customer Relationship

This shipment reflects an ongoing partnership with a valued customer who has trusted Neel Aviation with more than 25 aircraft shipments over the years. Whether preparing twin-engine aircraft, light sport planes, or agricultural aircraft, our crew ensures every export meets the same high standard of precision and care.

Strong customer relationships are at the heart of what we do, and repeat business like this demonstrates the consistency and reliability of our process.

Neel Aviation’s Global Reach

From South America to Africa to Asia, Neel Aviation has decades of experience managing aircraft disassembly, containerization, and global shipment. Every project—whether for flying aircraft or maintenance trainers—requires the same attention to detail.

This Cessna 310 export to South Korea is another example of how our crew supports aviation around the world, ensuring aircraft continue to provide value even after their flying careers.
