On May 20, 2025, Neel Aviation completed another international export project, preparing and shipping a Piper Aztecto Japan. The aircraft was flown to our facility at Lakeland Linder International Airport in Florida for disassembly, fixture building, and containerization before making its journey overseas.

This project highlights not only the technical expertise required to handle a twin-engine aircraft like the Piper Aztec, but also the growing demand for safe and reliable aircraft exports to the Asia-Pacific region (アジア太平洋地域).

About the Piper Aztec

The Piper Aztec, a six-seat twin-engine aircraft (双発機), is known for its reliability, load-carrying ability, and versatility. Used worldwide for training, charter, and private operations, the Aztec’s twin-engine design requires extra care during disassembly and shipment.

For this project, our crew designed and built custom steel fixtures specifically for the Aztec’s fuselage (胴体) and engines (エンジン). These fixtures stabilize large, heavy components during transport, ensuring safe arrival in Japan.

Our longtime freight partner, International Freight Experts, managed logistics from Florida to Japan, continuing a trusted relationship that guarantees reliable service.

Reassembly in Japan

Upon arrival, our crew traveled to Kitakyushu Airport (北九州空港), a unique man-made island airport just under two square miles in size. Dedicated entirely to aviation, it supports both commercial flights and cargo operations.

Over four days, our crew reassembled the Piper Aztec and ensured it was flight-ready for the customer. The project also offered a valuable opportunity to work alongside Japanese partners, experiencing their efficiency and hospitality (おもてなし).

Expanding into Asia-Pacific

Neel Aviation has decades of experience exporting aircraft to South America, Europe, and Africa. With projects like this, we are expanding further into the Asia-Pacific market. Whether it’s a twin-engine aircraft (双発機), an agricultural spray plane (農業航空機), or a light sport aircraft (軽飛行機), our crew provides:

Trusted Global Expertise

The successful export of this Piper Aztec to Japan demonstrates Neel Aviation’s ability to combine engineering precision with international logistics. From Florida to Kitakyushu, our crew delivered a safe and efficient solution—showcasing our growing role in aviation exports worldwide.
