The Export Process
Step 1: Contact Us

Step 2: Aircraft
Arrival
You have the flexibility to choose how your aircraft arrives at our facility at Lakeland International Airport. Whether you decide to transport it to us personally or require assistance, we can facilitate a smooth process. In cases where you need support, allow us to connect you with experienced ferry pilots who can safely transport your aircraft to our site
Step 3: Export Paperwork
We take the lead in handling all export paperwork, ensuring that your shipment proceeds smoothly and arrives on time with the correct documentation. In certain cases, aircraft may require an Export Certificate of Airworthiness issued by an FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR). Neel Aviation is equipped to handle this requirement, for an onsite certification, providing a streamlined solution.
Step 4: Aircraft Disassembly
Disassembly is one of the most delicate parts of the job, where years of experience really come into play. From removing engines to separating wings and crating the fuselage, every step is done with care. We label and code each piece to keep things organized, and we’ve built—and keep improving—custom tools and processes to make it all even better.
Step 5: Aircraft Containerization
The next step starts when the truck and container arrive. Loading begins with careful timing and attention, making sure each part is secure for the trip ahead. Everything is packed to protect the aircraft and make reassembly as smooth as possible—so when it reaches its destination, it goes back together just like it was.
Step 6: Shipment & Tracking
Your aircraft is now en route to its new home.
